Any entrance exam preparation requires several hours of hard work to get better at different aspects, every single day. However, it isn't just the candidate who needs to make the sacrifices to crack the exam but also parents, who need to put in efforts from their side to ensure their child have the best possible environment to prepare for the exam.
An IFS officer, who graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi, recently revealed how his parents had brought an air conditioner (AC) and installed it in his room, to help him prepare for his exams.
"This is the only AC my parents had ever purchased, ~10 years back in 2014. It was installed in my room, so that I can prepare for competitive exams with greater comfort & focus in summers."
"Just a glimpse of efforts put in by middle-class parents for their children's future," Anupam Sharma wrote on Sunday.
Sharma's post saw a lot of user comments, who praised him for not letting them down for their efforts and sacrifices.
"The best part is that you don't let them down. Probably one of the best feelings for parents to see their son making their dreams into reality," one user wrote.
"Proud parents and proud son. It is evident your hard work and dedication resulted in the calmness in their heart," another user wrote.
Recently, an IFS officer shared tips from his IIT preparation days and emphasised on the need to stay disciplined, consistent and have fewer distractions during the preparations.
