Furious IndiGo passengers yell at ground staff, CISF personnel over 5-hour delay. Video

A chaotic scene unfolded at Mumbai airport as irate passengers, stranded for over five hours due to a delayed IndiGo flight, clashed with ground staff in a heated exchange that has since gone viral on social media. A video of the incident, posted on X by various accounts on Saturday, shows passengers shouting at ground staff and demanding explanations for the delay, which they claim was not communicated in a timely manner.

In the now-viral clip, which has amassed lakhs of views, passengers can be seen surrounding the IndiGo counter near a boarding gate, expressing their frustration. “All flights are going except this one!” a woman shouted at one of the airline's female staff members. Another male passenger, visibly enraged, questioned, “We have been waiting for five hours. What are you guys doing?”

The tense confrontation did not stop at the ground staff. As the situation escalated, passengers directed their anger at Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel present at the scene. Several of them, holding mobile phones to record the incident, demanded that no other flights should be allowed to depart until their concerns were addressed. Some even called for the manager, further adding to the commotion.

The lack of communication and poor handling of the delay has drawn severe criticism, with many passengers demanding they be rebooked on another flight. However, the ground staff appeared helpless to resolve the situation.
