An American woman has been fired from her job after a video went viral showing her berating a group of German tourists on a New York City-bound train in New Jersey. The woman, identified as Brianna Pinnix, unleashed a barrage of insults, telling the tourists to "get the f–k out of our country." The incident has sparked outrage and condemnation, leading to swift action from her employer, Capital Rx, who fired her after the video went viral on Reddit.
Brianna Pinnix, a 30-year-old talent acquisition specialist at Capital Rx, confronted the group of male tourists on a New Jersey Transit train. The video shows a heavily inebriated Pinnix aggressively confronting the tourists who were laughing and barely engaging with her. She repeatedly demands to know their nationality and makes derogatory comments.
Pinnix's boyfriend, who was present during the altercation, attempted to defuse the situation, but his efforts proved futile.
“Brie, Brie, do not do this, do not do this, you’re going to get arrested,” he requested.
“I can handle my own,” she said, dismissing him.
“Brie, please stop this, please. Stop this, or I’m never going to talk to you again,” the man told her.
“I love you, but get off me,” she told him.
The tourists laugh and barely speak to her but at one point one of them gets up. He sits down soon after and is engaged in a conversation with someone else as the unknown cameraman pans the lens at mortified looking people in the train who were witnessing the drama.

The woman’s boyfriend manages to take her to his seat and make her see reason.
“You know I’m an immigrant, I’m an immigrant, too, you know that, right?” he tells her.
“Yeah but I’m responsible for you so it’s OK,” she laughs.
Another passenger eggs her on to hit the tourist with a “right hook” to which she says "thank you" before she lightly hits him – the man had asked her to show him "what she's got" – and proceeded to walk towards the German tourists again as her boyfriend tries to restrain her.
“How about you get the f–k out of our country,” she then shouts.
“Do not!” her boyfriend says amid gasps from other passengers.
Capital Rx, the company where Pinnix was employed, wasted no time in addressing the situation. A company spokesperson confirmed Pinnix's termination.
“Our company has a zero-tolerance policy around prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour. After conducting a review of the circumstances, we acted immediately and terminated the employee in question,” they said in a statement.
“The former employee’s actions and words are not representative of Capital Rx, and we offer our sincerest apology to those who were hurt.”
Since the incident, Pinnix’s social media accounts have been deactivated including her LinkedIn.
