The demonetisation move is impacting various segments of the society. The tourists coming to India are also feeling the pinch of the cash crunch. The government last week raised the foreign exchange limit for the tourists to Rs 5,000 a week. But, according to the CNBC-TV18 report, it seems the new limit is not enough for the tourists to stay out of trouble. The tourists say that the cash clean-up move is putting a limit to their shopping as they have to be careful with the amount of cash they are spending. Accomodation has also become a problem as many hotels only deal in cash.Watch video for more...
