Jignesh Shah questioned in presence of Nilesh Patel

The NSEL fiasco continued at a fast pace with Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) questioning NSEL promoter Jignesh Shah in the presence of its former CEO Anjani Sinha. Both continued to blame each other for the mess.

NK Protein's Nilesh Patel was also present during the interrogation. EOW sources say at the moment the borrower statement is also important to implicate Jignesh Shah, reports CNBC-TV18's Aastha Maheshwari. But the heat could also turn on the borrowers in the next few days. Mohan India is also being called by the EOW for questioning.
A forensic auditor may also be appointed to look into the books of NSEL. Sources says the Investor Forum may also launch an official, legal complaint against the auditors of NSEl.
