In a TV18 exclusive, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has finally broken her silence on the crucial question of whom the Trinamool will support for the president's post.

Speaking to CNN-IBN's Sagarika Ghose, Mamata Bannerji refuses to endorse finance minister Pranab Mukherjee for post of the top job at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
If the country allows him to become President then who am I to oppose it, she says. Taking a serious stand though, she says the decision finally rests on the Congress party as to who will be the Congress’ candidate.
