CRED founder and CEO, Kunak Shah, recently took to X to share an impact of AI that he found interesting. Taking to X, he wrote that AI has been incremental in "exposing bad talent faster".
"AI is causing an interesting second order impact. It’s exposing bad talent faster," Shah wrote. "Earlier bad talent could hide behind long cycles of iteration but as feedback loops are getting faster with AI, there’s no place to hide for them. Exciting times."
Moreover, speaking about the rapid advancements in AI and its impact on software development, Shah stated in another post that while AI tools are reducing the time and cost of building software, efficiency alone does not equate to success.
"AI cutting down software development time and cost is like cheaper and faster construction of a building. You still need the right location and architecture. Speed alone won’t guarantee success," the CRED founder wrote.
Shah has consistently been speaking about the transformative potential of AI. Last week, he highlighted a significant shift in Bengaluru's startup ecosystem towards adopting AI and emphasised the urgency for startups to embrace it. In a post on X, he stated that while many Bengaluru startups have been leveraging AI to boost productivity, only about 20 percent have fully integrated AI into their operations.
"Bangalore startups are increasing using AI to be hyper-productive. But it seems only 20 percent are breathing AI. Rest are waiting for a sign," he wrote.
Shah has also been open about the impact of AI on his personal life. In a recent discussion, he said that AI ushered in a new era of innovation and that AI tools like ChatGPT have made him "10x more efficient in sharing ideas with the team."
