8-year-old boy donates 10 months' savings to Indian Army, Russian woman in Gurgaon lauds soldiers

An eight-year-old boy from Tamil Nadu has won millions of hearts after donating all the money he saved for 10 months to the Indian Army. The Class 2 student of a government school in Karur said the amount included his pocket money and cash gifts from family members. The child said that he decided to donate all his money to the Indian Army because he wanted to "help those who protect us".

Social media users lauded the boy for his selfless spirit.

Taking to Instagram, Polina Agrawal, praised the Indian soldiers for their bravery and unwavering dedication to protecting the nation. "Really grateful to all Indian soldiers who protect us and help us sleep peacefully at night!" she wrote in the caption of the post.
