The idea to build the tool was proving right when in approximately seven months time, DimeADozen brought in a revenue of Rs 54.8 lakh ($66,000) for the duoHowever, just when their business venture was prospering they found new owners, who offered them a sum of Rs 1.2 crore ($150,000) which was large enough for Aiello and Power to sell the tool.

The tool was brought by a couple- Felipe Arosemena, a software engineer and Danielle de Corneille, a product designer. But despite selling the tool to the couple, Aiello and Powers continue to play a role in its growth and essay the role of advisors. They have committed five hours each week to contribute to the growth of the tool and the former hoped that the efficiency of DimeADozen to complete a task would be noticed by industry bigwigs such as Salesforce in future.
