Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has bagged a five-year contract from Vodafone Idea (Vi) to overhaul the telecom operator’s business support system (BSS) with an AI-powered, next-generation platform.
The transformation programme, anchored on TCS’ flagship products HOBS and TwinX, aims to boost Vodafone Idea's customer experience by embedding intelligence, automation, and personalization across services. The unified platform will help accelerate product launches, improve operational agility, and deliver more resilient and responsive digital experiences.
“With this partnership, Vi is embarking on a transformative journey to redefine customer experience. By modernizing our BSS platforms embedded with AI-driven innovation, we are setting a new standard to deliver faster, smarter and more personalized digital experiences,” Vodafone Idea chief technology officer Jagbir Singh said.
“The program builds on the firm's ' 15-year relationship with Vodafone Idea, TCS president & country head–India business Ujjwal Mathur said. "By leveraging our advanced AI capabilities and flagship platforms, we are committed to transforming customer engagement and operational efficiency for Vodafone Idea,” he said.
