Xiaomi has unveiled a new variant of the Redmi K30 series called the Redmi K30 Ultra at the Mi 10 Ultra launch event in China. The key highlights of Redmi K30 Ultra include a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G processor, a 120Hz AMOLED full-screen display and a 64MP quad-camera.
Price: The Redmi K30 Ultra has been launched in four storage configurations — 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 8GB+512GB. The four variants are priced at 1,999 yuan (roughly Rs 21,500), 2,199 yuan (roughly Rs 23,600), 2,499 yuan (roughly Rs 26,800)and 2,699 yuan (roughly Rs 29,000), respectively.
The smartphone comes in three colour schemes — Moonlight White, Midnight Black, Mint Green.
Redmi K30 Ultra specifications
Display: Redmi K30 Ultra sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED Full-Screen Display. The Full HD+ resolution screen does not have any kind of notch or punch-hole cutout but a pop-up motor for the front camera. The screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of 800 nits.
The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Camera: Redmi K30 Ultra sports a quad-camera setup on the rear. There is a 64MP primary sensor at the helm, paired with a 13MP 119-degree ultra-wide shooter, a 5MP tele-macro lens and a 2MP depth shooter.
For selfies, there is a 20MP front camera housed inside a pop-up motor.
Performance unit The smartphone runs on Android 10-based MiUi 12 out-of-the-box. It gets powered by a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 512GB internal memory.
Redmi K30 Ultra packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging via USB Type-C.
The smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dual stereo speaker setup.
