CitiusTech appoints former Wipro SVP Sudhir Kesavan as Chief Operating Officer

CitiusTech is currently aiming to double its revenue to $1 billion over the next five years.

Healthcare-focused IT services company CitiusTech on January 4 announced it has appointed IT industry veteran Sudhir Kesavan as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kesavan will be succeeding Atul Soneja in this role, who in turn recently moved to Tech Mahindra.

In his new role, Kesavan will be instrumental in steering CitiusTech towards the execution of its strategic vision and leading the company’s global delivery organization. He will be overseeing the enhancement of practice capability, service delivery maturity, and market innovation to drive profitable business growth by collaborating across practices, markets, delivery, and functions, the company said.

Before joining CitiusTech, he was a partner at PwC India, responsible for its cloud business. Until February 2023, Kesavan was a senior vice president at IT services major Wipro, leading its FullStride cloud services and cloud transformation business line globally.

CitiusTech’s CEO Rajan Kohli who joined last year, too is a former Wipro veteran. The company is currently aiming to double its revenue to $1 billion over the next five years. Acquisitions to build new capabilities and expand will be a key component of the plan, Kohli told Moneycontrol in an interview.
