Polycom RealPresence To Be Part Of Infra For Six Service Providers

Polycom, Inc., the open standards-based unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) solutions provider, has announced that the Polycom RealPresence Platform will be part of the underlying infrastructure that powers six out of the seven service providers that are offering breakthrough Open Visual Communications Consortium (OVCC) compliant, cloud-delivered video collaboration services. The OVCC organisation announced the first OVCC compliant, multi-network video collaboration services offered by service providers under their respective brands. The services allow businesses of all sizes to participate in seamless video collaboration meetings, even if the participants are in different companies and served by different service providers.
