Next Hitman game to be developed by Square Enix Montreal

One of the most highly anticipated games that came out this year was Hitman: Absolution. In an interview with OPM, director Tore Blystad has confirmed that the next game in the franchise will be developed by a different studio, namely, Square Enix Montreal.This would be the first time that a game in the Hitman franchise will be developed by anyone except IO Interactive. This gives the Hitman series a development cycle like that of the Call of Duty games, which has the Modern Warfare series developed by Infinity Ward every two years, and the Black Ops series developed by Treyarch every other year.
