Two weeks ago, Google launched a Gmail app for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. However, it was taken right back down almost immediately because of a pretty serious bug. They have now said said in a blog post that the bug has been fixed and the app is up and running in the App Store, again. Features of the app include push notifications, the ability to attach a photo to an email, speedier searches, Priority Inbox, mail organization with archiving, labeling, starring and reporting as spam, as well as viewing labels without leaving the inbox. Matthew Izatt, Product Manager for Gmail adds, "Based on your comments we have already improved our handling of image HTML messages - they are now sized to fit to the screen and you can pinch to zoom in."
