Google doodles for Intel co-founder, Robert Noyce

Today’s golden microchip doodle celebrates the 85th birth anniversary of Robert Noyce, co-inventor of the integrated circuit. Also referred to as the “Mayor of Silicon Valley”, he co-founded Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel Corporation in 1957 and 1968. The doodle, itself comes in a 'no-frills' appearance, much like the simplicity the man himself embraced in his life. Atop the golden microchip, the word - Google has been engraved.
