Sony Xperia S Jelly Bean rollout may start in late March

Fans have been waiting for the Jelly Bean update to Sony’s last year’s flagship device—the Xperia S—since April 2012. If a tweet on the company’s German Twitter account is anything to go by, the phone will be getting it later this month. The tweet comes as a response to a user asking the company when the handset will be getting the update, to which the answer, roughly translated, was “we will begin the rollout of Android 4.1 for the Xperia S in late March.” The company however maintains that Xperia S owners will be seeing the update in April. This could mean that the rollout is due to start in late March and most users will get the update by April. Click here for full story
