AAP's one month report card: Hit or Flop?

It has  been a month since Arvind Kejriwal took his oath as the chief minister of Delhi - a month in power which was marred by several controversies, several promises met, many yet to be fulfilled, questions being raised by many on Aam Aadmi Party 's(AAP's) ability to govern. As debutant Arvind Kejriwal took oath as the seventh chief minister of Delhi, so there was hope, freshness & optimism. However, a month on - the party and its leader seem to have been mired in one controversy or the other but the chief minister believes that they have achieved a lot more than others.

One of the first promises the AAP fulfilled was a 50% cut in power tariffs & 20 kilo litres of free water every month. But a few have questioned the viability of these measures. And there are other promises that will need to be fulfilled such as the Janlokpal Bill, which the party promised to pass within a month of coming to power.

Also AAP's promise to provide Porta cabins for the homeless is yet to see the light of day - for which the HC too pulled up the governement. Similarly, progress is yet to be made on its promise of forming a woman commando force.
