3 weeks Monsoon Session of Parliament to begin from July 21

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has finalised the dates for the monsoon session of Parliament. The three-week monsoon session of Parliament will begin from July 21.

The monsoon session is likely to be a stormy affair with the opposition gunning for the resignation of Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje over the Lalit Modi visa fiasco.

The government is looking forward to push through key bills and get approval for the recently-promulgated ordinances. But doing so will be a tough affair with the growing controversy surrounding the Visa issue.
