What's new | OnePlus has added some intelligent features like "Screen Recorder" for those who wish to record games while playing live. It will sport a Dolby Atmos powered dual front facing speaker along. Screen | OnePlus has decided to equip the OnePlus 7 with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a curved, edge-to-edge 6.67-inch QHD+ 'Fluid AMOLED' display, backed by HDR10+ support and a resolution of 3120x1440 pixels. (Image: Moneycontrol).
Hardware | Under the hood of the OnePlus 7 and the 7 Pro is a 7nm Octa-core Kryo CPU processor, 2.84 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB RAM options. Storage | Both the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro come with 128GB/ 256GB Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 3.0 storage on board, becoming the first commercial smartphone to launch with the storage standard. Camera | The OnePlus 7 has a dual camera setup with a 48MP f/1.7 primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the smartphone comes with a 16 MP sensor that also supports face unlock. The 7 Pro has ratcheted up to a triple rear camera setup, its primary camera having a 48MP (Sony IMX586 sensor) f/1.6 sensor with OIS and EIS. The other two sensors include a 16MP 117-degree ultra-wide angle with an aperture of f/2.2 and an 8MP 3x telephoto sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. Connectivity, price and colours | Both phones sport 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C connectivity options amongst others. Both phones will be available in India from May 17 onwards, with the 6GB + 128GB variant of the OnePlus 7 to be priced at Rs 32,999 whereas the higher end 8GB + 256GB variant available for Rs 37,999 .The OnePlus 7 Pro has been launched in India for Rs 48,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant whereas the 8GB + 256GB variant and 12GB + 256GB variant have been priced at Rs 52,999 and Rs 57,999 respectively.
