Aahana - The Corbett Wilderness | As the name suggests, resort is situated amid the sprawling Tiger Reserve in Ramnagar, near Nainital. The resort is ranked eighth on the list. The resort organises Jungle Safari and Nature Walk for its guests. Apart from that there are facilities like golf course, pool table, swimming pool and other indoor games to indulge oneself.
The Oberoi Udaivilas | Remember the grand wedding of Kalki Koechlin in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani? This is the hotel where the whole procession was shot in Udaipur. Evolve Back, Coorg | Moving towards top five, at the fifth position in the list is another Evolve Back property. Part of the Orange County Resorts & Hotels, the 300-acre plantation paradise in the Chikkana Halli Estate promises ‘a personal voyage of discovery’ as soon as you check in. The resort has a number of villas and they are plush with amenities like pools and spa.
Taj Lake Palace Udaipur | The second hotel in Udaipur to feature in the list, Taj Lake Palace ranks fourth. It is housed in the pleasure palace of Maharana Jagat Singh II, built in 1746. Located amidst the Lake Pichola, this heritage hotel has 66 luxurious rooms and 17 grand suites.
The Oberoi Rajvilas | Housed in an 18th century 32-acre mansion in Jaipur, one more property from the Oberoi group features at the third place in the list. Apart from the usual luxurious amenities, the hotel offers its guests to indulge in cooking classes, golf, tennis and personal wellness care like an Ayurvedic spa.
The Leela Palace Udaipur | The reign of Rajasthan’s palaces is far from over and at the second position, travellers have crowned The Leela Palace. Like its competitors in the list, it is also located by the Lake Pichola. The hotel has the view of Aravalis from its windows and has all expected amenities in place.
Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur | Not surprisingly, the Umaid Bhawan Palace ranks at the top on the list. Housed in the youngest princely palace built in India, the hotel is run by The Taj Hotel Group.
