BJP MP Jayant Sinha outlined the four big pillars of Modinomics 3.0, focusing on building a 'Viksit Bharat' designed to position India as a global superpower.
The first pillar is to establish macroeconomic stability that has been slowly built-up over 10 years to woo investors and give them confidence to invest.
The second is to focus on capital expenditure and build infrastructure. Earlier, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had promised a committee to tackle demographic challenges.
The third pillar is to uplift the poor, youth, women and farmers by providing them tools for empowerment and self-sufficiency.
The final pillar is job creation by training, educating and helping the youth develop skills that will give rise to job creation. BJP MP Jayant Sinha said that data indicated that the unemployment rate was dropping, and the prime focus will be on job creation.
