After the successful completion of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently stated that the state government will now work towards establishing other temples.
When asked about the relevance of the slogan “Ayodhya to jhaanki hai, abhi Kashi–Mathura baaki hai” in today’s context, HT Leadership Summit, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, "Hum sabhi jagah pahuchenge aur pahuch chuke hai (We will reach all these places - in fact, I would say we already have."
“Everyone should take pride in our heritage, and all these efforts are directed towards that. We are grateful to the Supreme Court for a verdict based on facts. Today is an important day - the day that 'disputed structure' was removed. A stain was erased and a heritage restored… I believe all this should have happened without obstacles after Independence. But those destined to accomplish it have done it now,” Adityanath said, according to PTI.
Yogi Adityanath was answering a question which referred disputed structures of Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi (Kashi) and the Shahi Eidgah Mosque in Mathura.
At the event, he also cited the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya after 500 years as one of the most iconic moments of his career.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust recently announced the completion of all temple construction work, including the main shrine of Prabhu Shri Ramlalla.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the "Dhwajarohan" (flag-hoisting ceremony) at the Ram Temple on November 25, 2025, to mark the formal completion of the temple's construction.
Earlier on January 22, 2024, the idol of Lord Ram was consecrated at the Ram Temple with PM Modi in attendance.
