Technical snag delays three Air India Express flights at Bengaluru airport

Sources told Moneycontrol that three Air India Express flights from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Nagpur were delayed by up to 1.5 hours due to a technical issue.

Passengers at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport faced inconvenience on December 2 after three Air India Express flights to Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Nagpur were delayed due to technical glitches.

The airline did not disclose details of the technical issue. However, in a statement, Air India Express said: “Three of our flights departing from Bengaluru today were delayed by approximately 1 to 1.5 hours after the flight crew elected to return to the bay as a precautionary safety measure, in line with standard operating procedures.”

“All aircraft were inspected by our engineering teams and cleared for operations after the necessary checks were completed,” it said.

“We regret the inconvenience and appreciate the patience and understanding of our guests. Safety remains our highest priority, and we are committed to upholding the strongest operational and engineering standards,” the airline adds.
