Indrani back to jail from hospital, fears threat to life

Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the killing of her daughter Sheena Bora, said she feared threat to her life.

Mukerjea expressed the apprehension while being taken back to the Byculla prison after her discharge from J J Hospital on Wednesday.

Mukerjea, who was admitted in the state-run J J Hospital for the treatment of a suspected drug overdose, was brought back to the jail, Inspector General (Prisons) Rajvardhan Sinha told PTI.

Her health condition is better, the hospital's dean Dr S D Nanandkar said.
