Five high courts get new chief justices, 4 judges transferred: Full list

According to separate law ministry notifications, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. He was so far the acting chief justice of that court.

The law ministry informed on Monday that Chief justices have been appointed to five high courts and four high court judges have been transferred.

According to separate law ministry notifications, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. He was so far the acting chief justice of that court.

Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State for Law & Justice, said on X (formerly known as Twitter), "In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, in consultation with the Chief Justice of India, the President is pleased to appoint following Judges as Chief Justices of High Courts along with transfer of following Chief Justices."
