The process of transition of security from Delhi Police to CRPF is underway and is expected to be completed in some time, CNN-News stated citing sources. (Image: PTI)
Once the transition is finalised, the Delhi Police will continue to manage the outer perimeter of the Chief Minister’s residence, while the CRPF will directly handle her personal and area-specific security. This comes a day after Rekha Gupta was attacked by a man, identified as Rajesh Sakariya, a 41-year-old resident of Rajkot, Gujarat. Shortly after the attack, the police apprehended the accused. (Image: X)
