Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha took a jibe at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday and said that the Congress leader's visit to Bihar and his Voter Adhikar Yatra would have no impact on the upcoming Assembly polls.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Jha said, "He (Rahul Gandhi) have also roamed around in Bihar, but his visit in Bihar had no impact... People in Bihar are in favour of NDA and Nitish Kumar... Only they can understand what they are saying...."

Reacting to the meeting of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Jha stated that it was a very good meeting.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying that the latter conducted the Voter Adhikar Yatra with an aim to raise a voice for the Bangladeshi infiltrators whose names were getting struck in the Special Intensive Revision in Bihar.
