Bengaluru Metro's Yellow Line passenger services between RV Road and Delta Electronics Bommasandra will begin at 6:30am on August 11.
BMRCL officials said that train operations on this line will be as follows: On weekdays (Monday to Saturday), trains will start at 6:30am from both terminals - RV Road and Delta Electronics Bommasandra Metro stations.
"The running time on the section is 35 minutes in each direction, with stops at all 16 stations, including the two terminals. The last train will depart from Delta Electronics Bommasandra at 10:42 pm and from RV Road interchange station at 11:55pm,” said a statement from BMRCL.

“Trains will run every 25 minutes, starting at 6:30am from Delta Electronics Bommasandra and at 7:10 am from RV Road Metro station. Train frequency will reduce from 10 pm onwards,” it said.
On Sundays, services will begin at 7 am instead of 6:30 am, maintaining the same frequency. The fare between the terminal stations of the Yellow Line is Rs 60.
“Tokens, NCMC cards, BMRCL smart cards, and QR tickets will be available and will function seamlessly across existing lines with no changes,” the statement said.
BMRCL commuters using iPhones can download the official Namma Metro app from the Apple Store starting August 11, 2025, to purchase QR tickets and recharge BMRCL smart cards.
“The frequency of services will increase as more train sets are commissioned,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, fourth train for Yellow Line reached Budhanam, Andhra Pradesh - about 345 km from Bengaluru - on August 9. It is expected to arrive at the Hebbagodi depot near Electronics City by August 12.
