To enhance commuter engagement and road safety, Bengaluru Traffic Police on January 29 unveiled a ‘Traffic Police Museum and Experience Centre’, along with ASTraM (Actionable Intelligence for Sustainable Traffic Management) mobile app.

Inaugurating the facility at the Traffic Management Centre on Infantry Road, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said the ‘Traffic Police Museum’ is a unique institution dedicated to showcasing the history and evolution of traffic management in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda said: “The museum has vintage traffic equipment, historic photographs, uniforms, and documents that trace the city’s traffic management history”.
