Anmol Bishnoi, a key accused in the killings of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique and singer Sidhu Moosewala – had reportedly obtained a fake passport in the name of Bhanu Pratap and used it to enter the US illegally.

Anmol, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was on Wednesday arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) upon his deportation from the United States to India.

According to the passport copy accessed by NDTV, the document was created in 2021. It lists the date of birth of Anmol Bishnoi -- under the alias Bhanu Pratap -- as December 15, 2000, and names Rakesh and Sumitra Devi as his parents. The passport, numbered V3534569, carries an address in Sector 82, Faridabad.

In November last year, Bishnoi was arrested in California's Sacramento over entering the country will illegal documents. The arrest came just days after a Maharashtra court issued a non-bailable warrant against him and Interpol released a Red Corner Notice.
