After outrage, BlackBuck CEO clarifies: only relocating within Bengaluru

BlackBuck CEO Rajesh Yabaji’s post on relocating from Outer Ring Road over infrastructure woes sparked outrage in Karnataka; he has now clarified the company is not moving out of Bengaluru and will continue expanding in the city.

Logistics tech platform BlackBuck’s co-founder and CEO Rajesh Yabaji on September 18 clarified that the company is only relocating to another location within Bengaluru to ease employee commute.

“As we do this, we want to reiterate that a large part of operations will continue on ORR, and we will keep engaging with authorities for infrastructure improvements to support smooth business operations,” Yabaji said in a statement shared on X.

He recalled that BlackBuck started in 2015 from a small office near Sony Signal, Koramangala, before moving to Bellandur–ORR in 2016 for larger space. “The city of Bengaluru and the state of Karnataka have provided the resources, infrastructure, talent, and opportunities to grow into a company making a meaningful impact across India’s trucking ecosystem,” he said.
