Female Indian Gaur dies

Erode (TN),Jun25 (PTI) A three-year-old female Indian Gaur has died due to injuries, forest officials said today. Officials said three days ago the animal was found struggling in quicksand at Vattakadu within Burgur forest in the district and rescued by forest personnel. The animal was then released into the forest but it could not walk properly and fell down after ten or fifteen metres. Though veterinary doctors provided treatment, it died last evening.PTI COR
