Tata Sons, the promoter of Tata Motors, has increased its stake in the company via bulk deal on Tuesday.
On September 19, 2017 Tata Sons bought 3,87,67,541 shares (1.34 percent) of Tata Motors at Rs 421.44 on the BSE.
As on June 2017 the promoter was holding 91,25,08,075 shares (31.60 percent) in Tata Motors.
Tata Sons also bought 1,04,80,000 shares of Tata Chemicals at Rs 642.55 and bought 4,31,75,140 shares of Tata Global Beverage at Rs 213.35 on the BSE.
In the previous trading session, Tata Motors closed up 4.58 percent or Rs 18.55 at Rs 423.90 on the BSE.
Tata Global Beverage closed up 1.24 percent at Rs 216 and Tata Chemicals closed up 2.24 percent at Rs 656.95.
