United Spirits has shown fresh signs of weakness, so that gives us a chance to reenter a short trade with a target of Rs 2,500 in the futures market and for such a short trade, one should use a stop loss close to Rs 2,680.
The other trade for the day is a little risky in nature. We are looking to anticipate a bounce back in Coal India. The stock has been beaten down and oversold for quite some time that is why I use the word risky but only look to buy once it moves above Rs 255 mark in the futures market. Then only it is a short-term buy with a stop loss close to that Rs 245-247 range and a target of Rs 265.

My first call is sell on Axis Bank. One can attempt shorts here and in any pullback towards Rs 1,150 and keep a stop loss above Rs 1,200 on closing basis. My initial target is around Rs 1,090 and next logical target is around Rs 1,050 in next 10-15 trading sessions.
One can attempt shorts in Havells India around Rs 775-780 levels. Keep a stop loss above Rs 800 on closing basis. My initial target is around Rs 750 and next logical target is around Rs 725 in next five-seven trading sessions.

I have a buy call on Asian Paints. It has reflected strength by giving a mini breakout on the daily chart. The stock has also shown strength and has entered an intraday uptrend. The mechanical indicator starts supporting the move indicating the stock’s intention to appreciate further from here. One can buy Asian Paints at its closing of around Rs 488, with a stop loss of Rs 484 and an intraday target of Rs 496.
