Rajesh Agarwal of Eastern Financiers told CNBC-TV18, "I do not think JSW Energy is a good stock to be for a longer term horizon because the company has been facing headwinds due to lower volumes and higher expenses. Even the fuel supply is not in place although the capacity is very good and that is around 3,000 MW."

He further added, "Going forward when we see that plant load factor (PLF) in September quarter was around 80 percent as against 88 percent last year, the PLF is also going down. So, these things are not doing well with the company."

"One should better be with other power stock; maybe CESC will be a good bet, which is very attractive on valuation parameter," Agarwal said.
