Look at Symphony, says Dipan Mehta

Dipan Mehta - Member at BSE & NSE told CNBC-TV18, "With usual disclosure, one could look at Symphony. There has been a significant correction in the stock and no doubt the results were slightly below expectations and growth certainly has slowed down. But then I think considering the opportunity which they have and the past track record as also the fact that the entire business model is extremely capital-light. And in terms of market share and in terms of the comparative intensity, they have been able to grow despite new entrants."

"The only problem on Symphony over the past few months was the fact it was very expensive. But, now that the correction has taken place, I would certainly like to look at the stock in new light. It just came to my mind immediately. One needs to dig a little bit deeper and make sure there are no surprises, negative surprises. It is a smallcap, midcap stock. So, to that extent, more due-diligence is required," he said.
