Devang Mehta of Anand Rathi Financial Services told CNBC-TV18, "If you have seen the auto numbers, last month they were quite tepid and people on the street were quite pessimistic that the automobile sector in India wouldn’t do that well. However, September, October and November, in all the three months the festive demand would again come back to the fore and we feel that something like Maruti Suzuki which does not have any alternative listed player in India for playing the passenger car vehicle would tend to benefit for a longer term." "Something like Tata Motors which is again ridiculously priced at this point, probably the growth coming back to the European markets as well as things pulling down a little bit in China would again be a big benefit for Tata Motors purely on a valuation front. So, if somebody has a two years horizon then Tata Motors is a stock to be in," he said.
