Vijay Chopra of enochventures.com told CNBC-TV18, "Monsoon season generally is not good for the paint companies and we see a decline because the sales off take are lower. However, the following season is the festive season in India and we see a huge uptick in the paint stocks. So my sense is that one can hold on to the stock and it would keep on crossing new highs."
"Asian Paints is a must have kind of a stock in a portfolio for a long term investor. So, until a person does not need money, I don’t think one should cash out. These are good companies to have classic consumption stories, great distribution networks, good sales, good brand, so no point of exiting," he added.
