HRTI was a net seller in Easy Trip Planners, Infibeam Avenues and Vakrangee, and it was a net buyer in Coffee Day Enterprises on January 12. Easy Trip Planners ended lower, Infibeam shares hit a 52-week high and Vakrangee shares climbed to a near 11-month high. Coffee Day Enterprises rose sharply to hit a 52-week high

These firms typically try to capture the spread between the spot and futures prices, but recently they have been active in small, illiquid stocks as well. The volumes generated by them, more often than not, attracts retail investors to these stocks.
