Force Motors gains 4% on strong February sales growth

Force Motors shares rallied nearly 4 percent intraday Monday after reporting strong sales performance in the month gone by.

The Pune-based auto company sold 2,797 vehicles in February, a growth of 1.3 percent over 2,761 units sold in a year-ago month but the month-on-month growth was outstanding, up 29.3 percent.

In the domestic market, it sold 1,417 units (against 1,116 units MoM) of small commercial vehicle and light commercial vehicle while under utility vehicle, small utility vehicle and tractors segment, it sold 1,074 units during the month against 1,046 units in previous month.
