Coal production seen at 554MT; Coal India slips

In the Interim Budget, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said that India’s coal production seen at 554 million tonne.

At 12:45 hrs Coal India was quoting at Rs 257.35, down Rs 3.20, or 1.23 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 260 and an intraday low of Rs 256.15.  It was trading with volumes of 46,575 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.08 percent or Rs 0.20 at Rs 260.55.
