Buy Alkem Laboratories, says SP Tulsian

SP Tulsian of sptulsian.com told CNBC-TV18, "In the morning when I was talking to the grey market people or maybe yesterday evening also they were giving me the name of one fund manager who has been very prominent and in fact yesterday he was telling me to keep an eye on the Dr Lal Pathlab, that will show more momentum.""I attribute the good fundamental reason to Alkem Laboratories. In fact it is wrong to calculate the PE multiple of the company on FY15 because FY16 first half EPS or maybe the bottom line is practically what they have achieved in whole of FY15. I am not saying that you take that as well but still on a fundamental basis Alkem Lab but he was telling me that you keep an eye on that prominent fund manager who was earlier very active," he added."I will advice buying Alkem Labs because as I say I am quite impressed with it and maybe the December quarter results will hold the key on Alkem but definitely not on Lal Pathlab because if you really go by the fundamentals it has ran maybe a multiple of 45 plus. I don't think that kind of thing is justified. You just cannot say that there is no comparable peers available. Ultimately it is in the diagnostic space. if you see the unorganised players there are umpteen in every street and even the charitable institutions are doing these diagnostic things and all that the way it has been popularising.""If you say that I can ramp up and I will stick to my margins, if you start here in Mumbai every station, every two kilometre there is a charitable organisation as well and in fact they are becoming very active in that area for this blood checking and pathology and all sort of things. So, I won't be taking a positive call and I will not advise on a fundamental basis to buy now or enter into this stock and in fact those who got the allotment I will advice them to go for profit booking," he said.
