Bharat Wire Ropes up 6% on SCI, Dredging Corp orders

Moneycontrol BureauShare prices of Bharat Wire Ropes gained 6.5 percent intraday Thursday as the company has bagged two contracts.The company has been awarded with two rate contract from Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) with the sole option of two extensions of three months each, at same rate, terms and conditions for supply of different types of G.S. wire ropes and MMD approved G.S. wire ropes.It has bagged another two years rate contract from Dredging Corporation of India with the option to extend for further period of one year, at same rate, terms and conditions for supply of different types of galvanized steel wire ropes.At 14:15 hrs Bharat Wire Ropes was quoting at Rs 42.30, up Rs 1.95, or 4.83 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
