Vineet Bhatnagar, managing director of Phillip Capital told CNBC-TV18, "The counters to avoid in the midcaps are the ones from infrastructure, real estate and power. The strategy that some may have walked in with would be to sell on any upticks this morning. Of course it was panic that set in as far as the retail investors and the mutual fund investors are concerned."
At 11:22 hrs GMR Infrastructure was quoting at Rs 22.15, down Rs 0.15, or 0.67 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 22.75 and an intraday low of Rs 21.85.
