Afcons Infrastructure share price gained 2 percent in the opening tarde on July 22 following the company secured Croatian Railway reconstruction contract worth Rs 6,800 crore.
At 09:26am, Afcons Infrastructure was quoting at Rs 427, up Rs 8.25, or 1.97 percent, on the BSE.
The company has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by HŽ INFRASTRUKTURA d.o.o. (HŽ Infrastructure Ltd) for rehabilitation & construction of a railway line in the Republic of Croatia.
The work shall be competed in 72 hours for the reconstruction of the existing and construction of a second track on the Dugo Selo -Novska railway line including overhead electrification and signalling & telecommunication works, company said.

In the month of June, the company received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Reliance Industries for the execution of construction works related to the Vinyl Projects at Dahej, Gujarat, worth Rs 700 crore.
In the month of May the company declared as a lowest bidder (L1) for the water supply project of 353 villages of district Dungarpur form Kadana Back Water (Mahi Dam) Package -1. The project cost is Rs 463.50 crore.
The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 570.00 and a 52-week low of Rs 382.40 on 03 January, 2025 and 07 April, 2025, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 25.09 percent below its 52-week high and 11.66 percent above its 52-week low.
The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 15,704.40 crore.
