Sharekhan`s view on Idea Cellular

Sharekhan has come out with its report on Idea Cellular.

"Idea Cellular refrained from providing any ground level impact of the tariff hikes undertaken by the incumbent players in terms of volume uptake or any trends in usage patterns. Idea has undertaken a 20% net tariff hike in all its leadership circles while the management expects the price hike to slowly spread to emerging circles as well. Tariff hikes in new circles will come in a phased manner.
