Prefer HDFC, Axis Bank in private banking space: Seth

Prefer HDFC, Axis Bank in the private banking space and PNB, SBI in the PSU banking side, says Prashastha Seth, Senior VP, IIFL Private Wealth.

Seth told CNBC-TV18, "We have been bullish on 3 or 4 banks for quite sometime and we still believe that I would go for those banks only. So those are HDFC and Axis Bank on the private sector side and PNB and SBI on the PSU banking side."
He further added, "I think you have to still go with banks, which have a high CASA ratio, where you have visibility in terms of earnings and we have slightly increased allocation to private sector banks over public sector banks over the last one month or so but we still like all these four stocks from the banking space."
