Inflow of chilli crop declined to about 50,000 bags while most of the crop got traded at auctions held at Unjha market. Spot rates too were up above Rs 9,100 per quintal. Average inflow of jeera crop stood ~4,500-5,000 bags last week while trades of about 6,000 bags were reported at auctions held at Unjha market. Spot rates for exchange quality crop remained in the range of Rs 142-Rs 145 per kg, as per local traders. Spot rates of pepper garbled declined to Rs 353 per kg and that of un-garbled was down at Rs 338 per kg. Arrivals declined to 12 tons & trades too were down at 15 tons at Kochi market, as per IPSTA. India's MG-I ASTA grade pepper parity rate stood around $7,800 and $8,000 per ton for Europe & US delivery while Vietnam was selling is crop around $8,000 per ton, Indonesia's crop above $8,500 per ton and Brazil's crop was sold around $7,800 per ton, as per market sources. Average price of small cardamom declined to Rs 579.6 per kg, while the maximum price offered was down at Rs 916 per kg. Total inflow of small cardamom crop increased to 85.3 tons and the same were sold at KCPMC auction held at Thekkady. Total arrivals of new soya bean crop from harvest increased to more than 10lakh bags across major trading centers. Inflow at MP market increased to more than 5lakh bags and about 2-2.3lakh bags were reported across mandis of Maharashtra, as per local traders. Spot rates of Soya bean seed Indore (ex-mandi) closed at Rs 20.25 per kg while that of Mustard seed Rajasthan closed at Rs 28.4 per kg, as per Sea of India. Guar seed crop arrivals declined to 1,079 quintals, while the average of the closing spot rates was down at Rs 3,795.4 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan. Inflow of mustard seed crop declined to 15,977 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were up at Rs 2,618.2 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan. The total arrivals of mustard seed crop increased to ~65,000 bags while the spot rates increased to Rs 3,000-Rs 3,050 per quintal, across major trading centers, as per market reports. Spot rates of mentha oil declined sharply across major trading centers on dull domestic demand, sluggish export and steady inflow of oil drums in the market. Arrivals of more than 300 drums were spotted, as per market reports.
