SP Tulsian of sptulsian.com told CNBC-TV18, "I may not buy Procter and Gamble (P&G), but that will be a threat to Colgate because they have been holding the oral care market for quite a long time. In fact P&G is a serious player. They have deep pockets, they have good distribution network and have capacity to capture the market."

"It is difficult to say how much they will succeed in next couple of years, but since they are a serious player the threat will continuously remain on Colgate. I won't buy P&G at current levels, but cautious view on Colgate continues to remain," Tulsian added.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 3,180.00 and 52-week low Rs 2,243.80 on 03 June, 2013 and 09 July, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 7.49 percent below its 52-week high and 31.11 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 9,549.79 crore.
